Terminal
Gasfin offers small-scale solutions for small islands and customers unable to support large scale LNG deliveries. All components of the delivery chain are ‘right-sized’ to lower unit costs – i.e. smaller vessels, scaled down LNG storage, reduced send out and low cost installation. Despite the down scaling, we use proven technology to ensure reliability and safety levels meet standards of world-scale terminals.
Mid-scale FSRUs
In 2011 Gasfin was contracted by Électricité de France SA (EDF) to provide a mid-scale LNG infrastructure solution for the French Caribbean islands of Martinique and Guadeloupe based upon midscale FSRUs. From this project Gasfin developed a range of fully class approved FSRUs, ready for adaptation and accelerated construction from a wide range of shipyards.
Options cover LNG storage from 5 to 40,000m³, regas with sea water, air or waste-heat, 25 year onsite operation, shallow draft, and facilities for bunkering and truck send out. Efficient in use and flexible for redeployment these units optimize the entry of new customers to the LNG market.
Onshore receiving terminal
For areas where mid-scale FSRUs are not viable, Gasfin can provide onshore solutions to include ship mooring and unloading, bullet storage tank for up to 10,000m³, single, double or full containment tank solutions suitable up to 50,000m³ with every regasification option.
Mid- scale Shipping
We offer dedicated shipping options to complete the mid-scale LNG supply chain. Our rich heritage with gas carrier construction means we can design and deliver right sized LNGCs to meet every project need. Our proprietary designs include gas fired propulsion, range in capacity from 2,000 to 40,000m³, are compatible with world scale terminals and include shallow draft options.
